The Smiling Guitar Playing Buddha...Its time for some True Religion!!!

True Religion has to be one of my other favorite brand when it comes to choosing a pair of jeans! With its bold and unique stitching and iconic back pocket design, True Religion jeans are more than just symbols of fashion, they look good and feel good too!

Today, we will look at a pair of True Religion Billy Big T jeans.

Characteristics
This pair of jeans is not your usual skinny or slim fit jeans, but rather, it hangs loose at the hips, thighs and calves; some would call it "flare", others would simply call it a pair of straight jeans with a little touch of boot cut.
This pair of jeans has True Religion "written" all over it. Other than its iconic contrasting and beautifully sewn stitching all over the jeans, the back pocket's design with its flap design is one to die for. The blue on the jeans has a slight wavy gradient, and it is perfect for almost every occasion. Personally, I have met a few people who chose to taper the jeans to get rid of the flare effect, and alter the jeans to make it look more of like a pair of skinny or slim jeans. I generally wear size 31 for jeans, but since True Religion jeans have a larger sizing, I wear a 29 for True Religion jeans.


Price
This pair of jeans can be bought for SGD 649 locally, or about 400 USD at True Religion's online store. Despite its steep price for a pair of jeans, True Religion's jeans are definitely worth the price that you pay for. The craftmanship of the jeans as well as all the intricate details regarding every aspect of the jeans is thoroughly constructed and inspected, and thus, it is definitely a pair of high quality and "super kick-ass" image jeans.

Match this jeans with a brown belt and brown leather shoes and watch everyone stare at your hips when you parade down shopping malls or busy streets!

The journey begins...with G-Star Raw

As this is the first post of this blog, I'll start with a bit of an introduction. The purpose of this blog is for me to share my shopping and dining experiences as well as reviews/recommendations of products that I have or have yet to purchase. The reviews are solely my personal opinions and are in no way reflective of a general shopper's views towards the items and services. So please do take them with a pinch of salt!!

Today, we will take a look at the Defend Super Slim Jeans by G-Star Raw in Deep Blue color.

Characteristics
This is a pair of Super Slim jeans from G-Star Raw, and it fits almost like a pair of skinny jeans. The jeans features a deep blue wash, button-fly, G-Star Raw logo below left front-pocket, trademark back-pocket design, elastic round the waist as well as at the legs.
This is a pair of simple yet trendy pair of jeans. Being Super Slim, it is tighter at the thighs as well as the calves, and sits below the waist. The stretchable material ensures comfort throughout the whole day, and they can be worn to almost everywhere. It can be matched with a pair of brown leather shoes, white low-cut shoes or white high-cut shoes. I personally it with white low-cut shoes, even though I would wear them with a brown leather shoes occasionally. I generally wear size 31 jeans, and for this pair of jeans, I wear size 31 with Inseam of 30. (Check out my height and weight at the "about me" section to the right)

Price
This pair of awesome jeans can be bought locally at a price of about SGD 260, or can also be bought online at about USD 150 to USD 180, depending on individual online stores. I bought mine at www.asos.com, and they currently have it selling at GBP 99, with free normal shipping which takes roughly about 10 working days. Alternatively, you can opt for express shipping with an added fee and the item will be delivered to you before you even realised it!

For Whom
Its a must have for those who love the Defend Super Slim series of G-Star Raw! A very good entry level pair of jeans if you have not tried G-Star Raw jeans before. This was my first pair of G-Star Raw and it remains as one of my favorite pair. Try it if you love wearing skinny jeans.
